Elkin Vine Line
Elkin is located in the heart of the beautiful Yadkin wine growing region and is in a unique location to be a hub for local trails. We are in the Foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, less than half an hour from Stone Mountain State Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We are at the confluence of the Overmountain Victory Trail, the Yadkin River Trail Blueway, and the beginnings of our big project, the E&A Rail-Trail, which will ultimately be the Mountains-to-Sea Trail between Stone Mountain State Park and Elkin/Jonesville and Pilot Mountain State Park. We love the trails in Elkin, which we hope will become known as a “Trail Town.”
We decided early on that we wanted to differ from other wine tour services. There are plenty of great businesses out there already that offer tour packages tailored specifically to moving cohesive groups of wine tasters from winery to winery. That model normally results in a parked vehicle at the winery, and an idling driver waiting for the wine tasting group to be done as a whole. We thought there might be a better way.
So we set out to create a method to move people around wine country independently without the need for them to remain together as a group. By constantly circulating and continuously dropping off and picking up, we felt we could efficiently carry greater numbers of tasters to more of our fabulous wineries and increase the fun quotient for all. Our Winery Hopper business model is the result of those efforts. We hope you enjoy what we’ve created as you join us for your own winery hopping adventure!
Southern on Main
The heart of the South has always been it's blue collared people, raised on farms, fields, and ranches. Warm climates and fertile soil have given abundantly to an equally warm people, who took those ingredients and created a cuisine and a culture rich in flavor and history.
We here at Southern sought to create a menu that celebrates that history, and reflects the people who created it- simple, honest, and delightful. Every time we simmer a pot of collard greens, mix a batch of pimento cheese, or bake off a fresh blueberry sonker, it's done in the traditions we were all taught of sharing wonderful foods with those we love. We pair that with authentic southern hospitality in the setting of our historic downtown building, and we invite you to stop in and enjoy a dining experience
meant to make you feel right at home.

Reeves Theater
& Cafe
Once a grand Art Deco movie theater, the Reeves spent 20 years in ruin. In 2013, Debbie Carson and Chris Groner bought the Reeves, and with partner and project superintendent Erik Dahlager, began renovating it into a live music venue. They saw the abundance of skilled musicians in the area and the need for a state-of-the-art performance venue that could be these artists' creative home.
Under the leadership of Leanna Fillingame Freeman, the Reeves Café serves a rotating menu of simple fresh fare with an emphasis on local ingredients. Leanna has built important relationships with local farmers and butchers, and wants to highlight the beautiful produce, cheeses, and meats of the Yadkin Valley region of North Carolina.
The Bar at the Reeves is open during the show, serving primarily local beer & wine. The Yadkin Valley has become one of America's premiere wine regions, and our bar hopes to highlight the quality of local vineyards. Elkin is also home to two breweries, with many more in the surrounding areas, and we are excited to bring these craft brews to locals and tourists alike
