2. Trick or Treat Trail
The Trick or Treat Trail is a FREE safe alternative to the traditional Halloween experience hundreds of area kids typically find on West Main Street.
The FAC front lawn and building facade will be alive with spooky lighting, fog, creepy music, and other seasonal decorations. Costumed candy givers from various downtown businesses will be present along a short loop trail in front of the Foothills Arts Center (Roth YMCA @ Chatham Mill).
The loop trail will also feature a story walk presented by the Elkin Library. Kids photos will be taken and posted in galleries on our website and social media pages.
Important Details:
Visitor parking will be in the large lot to the left front of the building.
If the trail, at any time, exceeds the current safety regulation of fifty, one new admittance will be allowed in conjunction with each exit.
To funnel kids through the trail efficiently and to avoid large crowds gathering in our parking area, when possible, we suggest parents remain inside their cars while kids navigate the loop. Parents joining their kids along the trail should wear a mask.
