Local craft brewery with a taproom and restaurant located in a historic warehouse in downtown Elkin. Guests can either eat and drink upstairs in the restaurant or they can go downstairs to the taproom to taste locally crafted beer. Angry Troll’s specialty in the restaurant is their many pizza options. In the taproom they have six different types of tap beer made from locally grown ingredients. These beers are constantly being tested and improved to meet the customers expectations.

Southern on Main has a main level dining room and an upstairs dining room, a private bar, and an outdoor patio that has three sections. It is a great place to have events or parties. Harry’s is a local favorite by many because of their homestyle cooking. Teresa, the owner, has worked very hard to make the restaurant an enjoyable space to eat amazing food. For over 60 years it has been the place that both locals and visitors love. They have anything from delicious burgers to buttery crab legs. When they have specials they have dishes like hamburger steak that is the definition of homestyle, down home cooking. Harry’s has a bar area and a dining room where beer and wine options are available.

Skull Camp consists of a taphouse and pub fare located adjacent from each other. In the taproom customers can try their many types of in-house beer and wine. The brewery has produced more than 75 different types of beer. During the summer there is a covered patio which is dog-friendly, and in the winter they have a wood-burning fireplace to keep it warm and cozy.

Elkin Creek Vineyard is a beautiful four-acre vineyard growing Merlot, Sangiovese, and Cabernet Sauvignon which are each crafted in European styles. The Kitchen at Elkin Creek specializes in brick oven pizzas. They have three specialty pizzas made from fresh ingredients: Pesto, Bacon Brie, and Breakfast Pizza. Customers can also build their own customized made to order pizza. Make sure to ask what wines would pair nicely with your pizza of choice!
