Elkin knows how to throw a party. This fall, we're turning the volume all the way up.

Introducing Milltown Get Down, a two-day music festival set for October 10-11, 2025, right here in the heart of Downtown Elkin. With multiple stages, an incredible lineup of national and regional acts, and a streetscape full of local food, vendors, and small-town community spirit, this is more than a music festival.
Milltown Get Down is a celebration of Elkin's roots and its rhythm.
From Textiles to Twang
A new festival born from the spirit of Reevestock, Milltown Get Down keeps the music alive while bringing the party downtown. The new name tips a hit to Elkin's rich mill-town history, once home to one of the world's largest blanket manufacturers, while making room for even more music, more people, and more unforgettable moments.
This year's lineup is already turning heads, with featured acts like The Nude Party, Shadowgrass, Charlie Hunter Trio, and Gabe Lee, plus an exciting roster of artist like Michael Davis & Jacob Jolliff, ZG Smith, Time Sawyer, Holler Choir, Maia Kamil, and many more. (And yes, we've still got a few surprises up our sleeve.)
Stages, Sounds, and Small-Town Magic

With sages at the Yadkin Valley Heritage Center's River Stage and the iconic Reeves Theater on Main Street, the town will be alive with sound all weekend long. Pack a blanket or a lawn chair, rally up your crowd, and settle in for a weekend that blends front-porch comfort with festival-level energy.
Local vendors and artisans will line the streets with food, drink, and handmade goods so that you can sip, shop, and snack between sets. This festival is about so much more than music. It's about community, creativity, and putting the spotlight on everything that makes Elkin feel like home.
The Next Chapter
Milltown Get Down might be a new festival with a new name, but it carries the same spirit and mission that started in a tucked-away backyard amphitheater: support the arts, celebrate the town that raised us, and bring great music to great people.

Now, we get to bring that energy to the center of town. We are inviting you to get down with us and experience Elkin like never before.
